This will be our second holiday season in what I really-can't-call-the-new-house-anymore (but still do) and I'm very much looking forward to it. We're naturally much more settled after almost a year and a half, and the house has certainly seen some changes since we last decorated.
This year I'm feeling a traditional British meets festive whimsy vibe, building on the cottage-leaning aesthetic of our home and last year's decorations. Think velvet bows and gingham ribbon, dried organic accents, mixed greenery (faux and real) garlands, fluted candles, dried citrus, tinsel, and paper lanterns & ornaments.
