How is everyone holding up?! What day is it?! Our family is overall happy, thriving, and well, just making it through each day. For those with young kids, this trampoline, these paint-your-own puzzles, this playhouse, this camera, and this table + chairs have all been lifesavers for us so far!
I’ve been working on some updates around the house {with a list of about a hundred more!}, and from what I’ve seen on Instagram, a lot of you are as well. I thought it was a good time to share that, like so many small businesses, mStarr IS open for business. Maybe you were planning to make some changes to your home before all this started or maybe you’re just sick of looking at the same rooms/things/layouts day in and day out! We bring an approachable style to all of our projects, blending new + old, high end + low end, organic + timeless, artisan + mainstream, and would LOVE to collaborate!
Below are some ways that we are able to work together...
01 / 30-45 minute virtual consultation
This is your chance to ask…anything! What color paint would look good in this room? What type of storage would you use in the playroom? Would you put a rug in this room {and what size}? Basically this is a chance to talk through {and show me} things that might be on your mind and give you the foundation on which to build upon. This is done by via facetime/skype/zoom.
Cost: $150 {quarantine special}
02 / Virtual design consultation or organization session
A natural extension of the virtual consultation, but with more help executing. Similar to the standard consultation, you’ll walk me through the room{s} or area{s} you’re looking for help with and following our session, you’ll receive a recap with suggestions, inspiration images, and resources to execute on your own. This is typically a 1 1/2 – 2 hour session.
Cost: $275 {quarantine special}
03 / E-design interior styling
Perhaps you don’t need a consultation and want to jump right into a more comprehensive design package! This is a service we always offer {and have a couple underway right now, including an exciting project in San Francisco!}, and while it’s typically for those that live outside the general Boston area, it’s clearly applicable to everyone right now. It goes a little something like this…
You fill out a questionnaire.
We connect via email/phone/skype.
You receive a custom proposal that outlines how our project will unfold, inspiration images, and what the end goal is.
You then receive a design plan with notes, layouts, mockups, and a sourcing list that you and/or mStarr can work off of.
Your home gets an update, hooray!
Cost: pricing starts at $1250 and varies depending on scope of the project and number of rooms
