Coveting: Marie Kondo x The Container Store

Random Amazon finds I can't live without / mStarr design

Leave it to Marie Kondo to upend the organization industry. The founder of KonMari, Kondo has teamed up with The Container Store to debut a chic, minimalist, and functional line of products. The KonMari method encourages organizing by category vs. location and to keep only items that truly speak to you. When Marie’s Netflix show aired a couple years ago, I, along with every other viewer, started folding our clothes in her signature folded style and I’m proud to say that I’ve stuck with it!

Well some of the new Container Store products are made with the intention of using that folding style and maximizing available space. The line is meant to promote sustainability but looks beautiful to boot. I absolutely love that she chose a dark walnut color for most of the wood accents, an unexpected and welcome choice.

Below are some products I have my eye on (and have already purchased)!

01. Clear canisters with bamboo lids come with a silicone gasket to ensure freshness, making them a perfect vessel for pantry staples. However, they would work well in bathrooms, laundry rooms, and play/art rooms too!

02 / Too often I find expandable racks to be boring but this 3 tier version made of bamboo is a lovely addition to a pantry.

03 / How pretty is the watercolor design of this Clarity desktop file?

04 / Spice jars are typically glass but have pretty basic lids…not these bamboo ones!

05 / The wide curved handles set these rattan baskets apart.

06 / A new addition to our kitchen, I love the simplicity of these salt cellars.

07 / The square shape of this ceramic berry colander is atypical of most colanders (which are round/curved).

08 / A multi-purpose bamboo bin (with removable liner) that can handle toy or clothing storage.

09 / This 2-tier bamboo flatware tray maximizes drawer space.

10 / Now that so many of us have home offices (or dining room setups like us!), this monitor stand is a pretty + practical addition for keeping your neck straight while working.

11 / A ceramic canister option in a chic black color with bamboo handle.

12 / I love that Marie has created a closed option spice jar. You don’t always need to see the spices with the right label (see below)!

13 / Clean lines and a pretty dark color make these hangers perfect for a streamlined closet.

14 / Keep your papers organized in this rattan document box (I also love it for storing children’s art!).

15 / Beautify your fridge while making sure food doesn’t go to waste with ceramic fridge bins.

16 / I’m always looking for drawer dividers that aren’t plastic or see-through. Loving these bamboo ones.

17. The key to sticking with your organization? Labels.

18. If an open egg bin doesn’t work for you, simply add a large bamboo lid to allow for stacking.

19 / Another watercolor design but this time on the inside of a recyclable Hikidashi (“drawer” in Japanese) storage box.

20 / Both the glass and ceramic spice jars look lovely displayed on this in-drawer spice organizer.

Marie Kondo’s approach to organization is truly inspiring, especially with her new line of products that beautifully blend functionality and sustainability. Just as we take care of our personal spaces, it’s equally important to maintain the equipment we rely on. For businesses, regular electric motor repair is essential to ensure that machinery operates efficiently and lasts longer. By investing in maintenance, you can keep everything running smoothly, much like how Kondo’s methods help keep our homes organized and stress-free.
